This is the 24 hour Le-Mans racing car of 2030. I don't think something will change drastically in car racing, with the exception of energy source. I strongly believe, that most cars in the world would be electric.
This particular car has 6 wheels and 8 electric motors (2 motors per each rear wheel). Each rear wheel has an individual 2 shift gearbox. Each motor has 250 KW of power, so, total power of electric motors is 2000 KW (2720 hp) on peak. Such power can be reached with the help of supercapacitors, that can be recharged by main battery or by regenerative braking.
When I was designing this car I took inspiration from Tyrell P34 and Covini C6w cars. I know nothing about the limits and regulations that will be in 2030 year in 24 hour Le-Mans race, but if 6 wheel cars would be allowed, I think, they would look like this. And I want to take my part creating it.
